Out in Meadow today handling a seasonal furnace tune-up. This Bryant system's been running for about 12 years now, but they've kept up with maintenance real well. Checked all electrical connections, tested ignition system, and cleaned flame sensor that was showing signs of carbon buildup. Inspected heat exchanger - thankfully no cracks. Replaced their standard filter with a higher MERV rating one since they mentioned allergies been acting up lately. Calibrated thermostat and verified proper cycling. Burners were firing clean after a good cleaning.
